The Charity has received funding from both Leicester City Council - Adult Learning Service and the Leicester Learning Partnership to deliver this project in Beaumont Leys. Since August 2006 we have worked with over 193 local people to help them gain confidence in their use of English and to learn basic IT skills. The majority of our learners are new arrivals to the UK  from  Africa, the Middle East and several EU countries. We have had great success using Rosetta Stone and Tell Me More web based software to cover speaking, reading and listening skills at pre Entry Level before people move on to Entry Level ESOL courses at Babington Community Technology College.
Several of our learners have stayed with us as volunteers to help other people gain the confidence to take their first steps back into learning.
