OUR LEARNERS GO ON TRIPS TO PLACES OF INTEREST IN LEICESTER
Some of our learners and their families recently visited the National Space Centre in Leicester. They were given a guided tour around the exhibits and used the experience to help improve their spoken English skills. The charity has established itself as a dynamic organisation willing to listen and adapt to the views of learners and local people
The charity has developed a partnership with Leicestershire Museum & Arts Service and our visit to Newarke Houses Museum proved very successful. We were given a special guided tour around the recently refurbished building and found the displays about the history of the Royal Leicestershire Regiment particularly interesting.
OUR RECENT VISIT TO CADBURY WORLD
The charity has recently begun to work with ‘The PUKAAR Group’, who meet regularly to provide activities and events for Asian women with disabilities. They joined us on a recent visit to Cadbury World and thoroughly enjoyed themselves testing the chocolate !
